About this event
Although the methodologies for detecting leaks at oil and gas facilities have undergone significant changes over the last several years, the importance of the optical gas imaging (OGI) camera has not diminished. New federal regulatory standards and voluntary initiatives continue to drive home the importance of this technology, which often acts as the cornerstone of a leak detection and repair (LDAR) program.
Join oil and gas industry stakeholders to obtain a refresher on OGI cameras with both classroom and “in-the-field” training sessions. The classroom session will review specific requirements, methodologies and theories related to the use of OGI cameras and the in-the-field session will include a hands-on camera training. A certificate documenting completion will be provided at the conclusion of the course.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a company owned OGI camera for use during the outdoor field training. Those that do not have an OGI camera will share a camera provided by one of our expert speakers. Groups will be assigned upon arrival. Please plan to wear casual, comfortable clothing and footwear, and be prepared for light rain or cool weather conditions.
